The history of the black men and women who worked side by side with our founding fathers needs to be acknowledged in every classroom. They overcame so many things and never let wealth, race, position, or education get them down or stop them from achievement. I admire them and think all men and women should come to know about them.Product details

Tears for the Children M L Williams 9781545601525 Books Reviews
This book was written solely for adolescent literature in middle school and would be a great teaching aid for that audience. Unfortunately, it is not found in children's books and therefore is not available for that population. Great research.
Extremely awesome history and a story that is rarely known until now. If you have school age children or you are just a history buff this is a must have. A fantastic piece of literature written for a generation who has No idea what went into building this nation. A literary masterpiece and I for one was very impressed as the author obviously did a grueling amount of research on this piece. I am looking forward to reading more from this author...#nagelcontractor
I am biased because my grandma wrote this book, but I enjoyed reading about the many people who had such a positive impact on our country. This book is a great fit for advanced fourth graders to adults who wish to broaden their learning of African American history.
